Teaching ASSISTANT Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, Teaching Assistants to support children with Educational Health Care Plans in our happy school.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individuals to:
- Work alongside the class teacher to support individual children within the learning environment;
- Deliver targeted interventions linked to the EHCP;
- Promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being;
- Liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school.
Post 1: To work with two KS2 pupils 3 days a week. This post will require some moving and handling but training will be provided.
Post 2 : To work with a EYFS pupil 5 mornings a week and 5 lunchtimes, a willingness to provide intimate care is necessary for this post.
Post 3: To work with an EYFS pupil 5 afternoons a week and 5 lunchtimes, a willingess to provide intimate care is necessary for this post.
You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion.
These are temporary positions.
